What does Dementia support actually look like?
It looks different for everyone.
Sometimes it’s getting out for coffee, visiting somewhere familiar or enjoying a day out. Sometimes it’s help with appointments, shopping, routines or remembering what needs to happen next.
And sometimes it’s simply having someone alongside you who understands dementia, doesn’t rush you, and helps you keep doing the things that matter to you.
Support built around the person, not the diagnosis.
There’s no standard package. We start with the person — what they enjoy, what they can do, where they might need a little help and what would make life easier for them and their family.
How I can help
Getting out & about
Coffee, walks, shopping, garden centres, days out or simply somewhere different for a change of scene.

Keeping everyday life manageable
Appointments, shopping, routines, reminders, paperwork and those everyday things that can gradually become harder.
Doing things you still enjoy
Hobbies, puzzles, crafts, gardening, familiar places or trying something new. Dementia shouldn't mean giving up the things that make you, you.

Support for families too
Having someone you trust alongside your relative can make a difference to everyone. Regular updates, reassurance and knowing they're doing something they enjoy can give families a little breathing space too.
Someone you can trust
Inviting someone into your family's life is a big decision.
Especially when the person you love is living with dementia.
I don't believe support should feel clinical or impersonal. I take time to get to know the person — their routines, their humour, the things they enjoy, the things that frustrate them and the things that help them feel safe.
And families aren't kept at arm's length. We talk. I let you know how things are going, flag anything I'm concerned about and work with you as things change.

You’ll know who is supporting your relative. No revolving door of unfamiliar faces.
How does it work?
Getting started is simple. There’s no pressure, and we take things at a pace that feels right.
We have a chat
Tell me a little about your relative, what life looks like now and where some extra support might help.
We meet
There’s no pressure to commit. It’s important that the person I’ll be supporting feels comfortable with me too.
We build support around them
That might be a regular weekly visit, help getting out, appointments, activities or simply having someone familiar alongside them.
Not sure what kind of support you need?
That’s completely fine.
You don’t need to have everything worked out before you get in touch.
Maybe things have gradually become more difficult. Maybe you’re worried about someone being on their own. Maybe you’re doing more and more yourself and wondering what other support could look like.
We can simply have a conversation about what’s happening now, what matters to your relative and where a little extra support might make life easier.
